glad i rooted and rom'd before OTA

Reading all the issues with stock especially after the ota i'm so glad i did it early. Just rockin the hell outta my rezound. 1st android and best smarttphone i ever had.

My friends are amazed at the high quality photos my phone takes. And the hd videos blow them away. Beats is over rated but i got some cool red buds, LOL.

OTA's more often than not tend to make a complete mess of things. The only true OTA I've ever taken was the update from Eclaire to Froyo on my original Inc. It was the only OTA I remember where it didn't completely bork the phone. I rooted shortly after that and thank God I did because the OTA follow on's after that were a disaster according to the forums.

Same with the Rezound so far. Its better to root while you can and un-do it later if you don't like it than to have shotty half-baked "updates" foisted upon you with no choice in the matter.

i downloaded the ota update but I just took the big step in unlocking my phone how do i root it lol
