Glitch (re-post)

I have posted this before asking if anybody knew how to fix this glitch or if anyone else has experienced it but i am re-posting because the last time i tried to post the picture it didn't show up.

Basically the screen indicator on the droid x is overlapping my contact/app drawer/and dialer buttons.
It seems to happen randomly when i dock/undock my phone or it just starts to lag and then it starts to happen again.
I have tried rebooting, pulling the battery, and force stopping "Home" but none of them seem to work for god know what reason.

I have done factory resets before and I just don't like losing everything and having to put it back on my phone.

That is probably the easiest way, but I hate factory resets...

That happens once in a great while for me... I just reboot and it's fine. Yes it appears to be a bug (among a few that I've seen with that dock app).

I agree ... Launcher Pro Plus (paid version gives more options for customization). Can have 1-7 home screens and a rotating dock that has 15 touch slots and 15 swipe slots where you put your favorite apps.

It's absolutely amazing with devs who pay lots of attention to it - improving it all the time. Works extremely well; doesn't drain battery and, once you start with it, you won't go back to the stock.

Agreed as well. I have not seen a set up that is so adjustable and it always works. He even GIVES u the option to make things look overlapped if you really want(but hes nice enough to include that it looks terrible,lol) your phone to do it.

Its gone back to normal for now. If it does it again I will be sure to email or whatever. But gladly it has gone back to normal.

i looked on the appmarket on my computer and put in launcher pro plus and nothing came up??? is it the website not showing it?

Launcher Pro is in the Market. Launcher Pro Plus is not. You have to download the free version and then purchase the full Pro version through that app. The Dev comes from France (I think, someone correct me if I'm wrong), and Google doesn't let pay apps into the Market from there. So basically you have to do a PayPal purchase from the Dev's site through the free app.

What did you do to make it go back to normal? One of the main culprits is BattStatt Free. Its last update causes this issue. If you have that installed, delete it and the problem will not come back. Cub Scout's honor! Every phone I've seen with this issue has had that installed, and once it was deleted, it hasn't returned.

Get the app Home Switcher from Market. It will store you layouts for each of your launchers. So, if you want to have the stock, just open Home Switcher and click "Home." Want Launcher Pro - same thing. You can make one or the other the default.

PS - Even if you want to have both available, it's a good idea to clear the stock home pages of widgets and shortcuts before loading the LPP so you don't have widgets, etc, running in the background or creating conflicts. Everything works a lot better. If you have My Backup Pro, you could store/save your stock home pages before you clear them for the installation/activation of LPP.
