Global flashed T-Mobile version having issues with voicemail on Dual sim

Hi guys, I have the T-Mobile version that I used the XDA conversion to global and then bought a dual sim tray from online. I have both sims functioning perfectly fine for most things other than voicemail. When I go to the voicemail tab in the dialer it says voice mail is empty and then will bring up old voicemail from the 2nd sim. I also keep getting notifications that I have a voicemail but the voicemail tab is empty when I go to check. Also if I delete the voicemail for sim 2 it shows right back up in the visual voicemail. But if I dial out to voicemail there is no voicemail. Why would I be having this glitch with voicemail and has anyone else run into this? I am wondering if it has anything to do with the T-Mobile version having the same IMEI for both sim slots.

Edit: I have already turned off visual voicemail cleared the phone app cache and data and then turned it back on with no difference in results.
