Gmail app cuts off email

I notive that the gmail app cuts off my emails with that awful conversation view that I can't turn off. The first email shows everything but the second is always cut off with no way to see the full email. I mean seriously is this how this thing works?

Tap on the header of the email that is cut off to expand it.

That does not work. Only the first email expands all the way. This is ridiculous for an email program.

Did some research and there is no way to fix it but use the other email client.

Like the previous post said....click on the header at the very top and you can get the full message. It will have tabs for every previous message and you can open them up in full

You have to click it twice to view the whole message.
Just double checked to make sure

That does not work. These are long emails and only the first email is shown correctly all the others are cut off. I read some other forum posts to learn that there is no way around it. That's just how it is and only solution is to use another client.

How often do you get e-mails so long that the GMail app cuts them off? If not often it might be easier to use the web GMail for those cases instead of installing another e-mail app.
