GMail app of Exchange email icon?

Curious, which one are you using, the GMail app or the Exchange one?

I noticed that the Exchange one shows the volume of unread emails, where as the GMail one will only do so if you have certain launchers installed...

I don't use folders (labels), so I'm not sure of the real benefit of using the GMail app, versus simply using the Exchange one, and having the benefit of the red notification.

What say you?

Does anyone think that using Exchange would kill the battery quicker?

I'm using Gmail for personal use and exchange for work. Had to use a 3rd party app for unread count on Gmail icon. Goes well just the same.

Good question concerning battery use with exchange. I also wonder.
