Gmail App Question

I primarily use the mail app synced to my yahoo account but also have the Gmail App on my home screen and now all of my yahoo emails are going to the Gmail App. I think it's cool but wanted to ensure this is normal. Can I still count on my yahoo emails going to the Gmail account if I remove the mail app from my home screen.? thanks for the help

That's weird--Yahoo mail should only import into your main Gmail account if you set that up on Gmail on the web. Did you ever do that?

Are your e-mails from Yahoo! showing up in your GMail account if you check it on the website as well? If so, this SHOULDN'T HAPPEN unless you configure the account to do so (either adding the Yahoo! account as a POP3 or IMAP account to GMail or setting up Yahoo! to forward your mail to Google). I'm thinking you're seeing a unified widget that only shows the two accounts in one place (but not actually merging them) if you didn't set anything up.
