GMAIL app screwed after OTA

The only thing I have changed on this phone in the last 24 hours is the OTA. Everything else has been the same. Since the update, I can't launch gmail app. It opens, but nothing loads. can't back out, cant hit menu. Then a few seconds later i get a notification to wait report and close. Everyone else seeing this issue? Yes ive restarted. I do get it to work once in a while, but it still crashes when I get a notification to an email and click it.

No, I haven't noticed it. Mine works fine. I've been using it since last night with no issues. As a matter of fact, my Hotmail (Exchange Server) isn't working. It's so bad that I have all my emails being forwarded to my gmail account. I set that up last night after I couldn't take it anymore.

Log out of gmail, and try uninstalling and reinstalling the app.

ya I was thinking that too. Its odd, because a settings got changed within the app after the update. I have 3 email accounts. With only notifications set up with one of them, and the rest were manual checks. But after the update, I was getting notifications for all 3. So something clearly went sour

ya, if it comes to that I'll do it too. but so far its not totally broken

You don't need to do all that. Just reboot the phone once and you're good to go. It's happened to be a few times that certain google apps will just not launch (app pages in the market also won't load for example). Just a quick reboot and it's good to go!

I didn't even have an issue. Clear the app data and reboot possibly.

I haven't had any issues since doing the OTA update.

No Gmail issue since I updated last night but I sick of looking at the sync icon in my status bar and I don't even have auto-sync on. Guess I will try a reboot.

Happened to me last night, chrome, play, etc. A lot of apps were not responding as they should. This morning everything was fine. Weird.

Still pissed wifi is dropping on my home connection.

No issues with Hotmail?! Please elaborate! I've been having issues w/Hotmail since I got the phone on 5/24. I'm on my 2nd LTE, so it is the phone & Hotmail...

Are you using pop/IMAP, or are you using MS Exchange Server? I need to know your 'secret'...

I've had the same thing happened twice. The first time it happened I rebooted and it fixed it, then it happened again so I cleared data and force close and its been fine since

Just using my live credentials when setting up in the email app. Using 1 hour sync interval. Nothing special.
