Gmail App showing one unread message

Hello all,

My first entry in the Verizon Note 2 forum, since I recently switched from the Sprint Galaxy S 2.

I absolutely love my Note 2... Only one problem.
My Gmail App is attached to 3 different Gmail accounts, and my primary account continues to show 1 unread message, which there is none. I've forced shut the service and cleared the cache, with no luck.

The only thing I haven't done yet is clear the app data.

Any suggestions?

I have had this happen before on my galaxy nexus.

Sometimes a message in the priority inbox will not show up on the main list.

Click the Labels button on the bottom for the screen (3rd one from the right)
Then check Priority Inbox (2nd one down)

I have this problem two or three times a month. Go to the all mail folder and you should see it. It's always an email the inbox should pick up but for some reason it doesn't. Bothersome I know.

It was under the important label, i don't remember doing that, but either way, at least the program isn't crazy.
