Last week there was an update to the Gmail app. It changed some of my Gmail settings.
I primarily use my notebook so didn't notice that I was not getting notifications when email arrived. It took me a while to figure out why this happened. Evidently the update turned SYNC off.
For others who may not know where to turn it back on, open Gmail with the app, click the menu button > settings > tap your email address > tap Gmail sync and select Auto-sync app data.
Question for seasoned tablet users, is it common for an update to change settings?
