GMail: Attachments won't download

Apologies if this is redundant, but I couldn't find it via Search.

I can not download ANY attachments on the GMail app download from the market after Froyo update on my DX (stock, unrooted). It simply spins, and spins, and spins... any else note this problem or identify a solution?

try clearing the cache of the Gmail app in settings--->apps--->Gmail. the power down and power back up.

Thanks much for the suggestion. Unfortunately, it didn't help but what did was uninstalling all of the GMail updates from the market GMail app (as shown for the DX) and then reinstalling.
