gmail auto synk on android tablet

I have to turn it on every time I turn on my computer!How do I keep it on permanently?

Welcome to Android Central, and sorry for the delay! What tablet are you using? Are you saying that every time you turn on the tablet, the Gmail auto sync is turned off? Are you powering the tablet down completely, or just putting it to sleep? And how are you turning the Gmail sync back on?
