GMail doesn't notify me when I get a new email anymore

hi community
I'm using Nexus 4 and as 2 days ago gmail doesn't notifi me when new mail arrive, if i'd like to see new mail, i have to open this app click refersh button to get new one. Every app run smoothly, they always notifi me when new mess come but just only gmail doesn't work
I've factory reset and set all are correct but i's still doesn't work
Anyone can help to solve this problem?

Welcome to the forums! Have you tried going into Settings-->Accounts-->Google and verified that mail is set to sync?

This is not the issue. A change must have been made to the app(s), which now requires ALL content (I would interpret that as photos, etc.) to be sync-ed (no way to ONLY sync gmail; in fact, when trying to set auto sync it warns to that effect)
