Gmail glitch

My Ultra likes Gmail. A little too much perhaps. Its constantly opening it. I can swipe from one homescreen to the next(neither of them are the one with gmail on it) and gmail will open. If I'm in an app and exit out of it, it will open gmail. I hit multitask and close gmail through there, open up an app, and gmail opens. It doesn't happen all the time but probably about a dozen times over the last 2 or 3 days. Seems a bit odd to me.

Try Force Closing Gmail by going to Settings/Apps/All, selecting Gmail, and tapping Force Close there. See if the behavior occurs again after restarting Gmail.

I will also clear data/cache of gmail and open it again

I did a force close this morning and it hasn't done it since. Crossing fingers that its fixed.
