Gmail notifications not clearing?

Does anyone have an issue on their GNex with their Gmail notifications not clearing on the phone when you have read them in gmail on your computer? My OG Droid had no issue with this. I'm running Lightflow and have it set to clear when gmail has been read. In fact, I even contacted the lightflow team and they responded quickly but it seems there is more of an issue with gmail or the phone than lightflow. I disabled lightflow and used regular notifications and had a similar issue. Is there some setting I have not examined/checked?

I am having that issue as well, albeit intermittently. Sometimes it clears the notification, sometime it does not.

I wanted to close the loop on this in case anyone pulls up the thread. Similar to EyeCandy, the issue is apparently intermittent. While having problems with it all day yesterday and other times in the past, I've had no issue with it today at all.

The only way I can clear my LED indicator is to clear the notification on gmail itself, not if I read the gmail on a computer. I'd like to upgrade to Lightflow but this will remain an issue. Same thing happening to me for gmail. For me even after checking my email on GNex the mail seems to still be left unread (when I log on a desktop, the email shows unread status). Could this be the reason?
