Gmail problem

Hi,

Just recently I've been having a problem with the Android Gmail app.

I've got a Hotmail account setup on it. I have my junk filter set to 'exclusive' so that any mail sent from someone not on my safe list goes straight to junk mail.

However every now again, junk email is making its way to my inbox. Is there anything I can do to stop this?

I'm running the second (got the update last night) version of the developer preview of Nougat 7.1.1 on my Nexus 5X.

It may be some kind of error between Hotmail and Gmail. I would try flagging messages as junk. The servers may catch up and filter it better.
