Why when I send a gmail to somebody do I get the email on my gmail account on my computer. Should I take it off my windows mail so I just have it on my evo?

By "on your computer" do you mean your inbox or sent mail?

On some email clients reply to all ends up going to you as well.

AAlso, if you're using IMAP you should be getting a copy. The goal is to have the client mailbox in synch with the server. With POP once you download it it's gone.

Thanks , I will look and see. I did mean my inbox on my computer. Does it matter which I use , imap or pop. I can use either one right?

For your home computer setup with gmail I suggest you use IMAP. If you use the gmail app with the same address on your phone or in a browser then whatever you did will appear in your gmail account from wherever you access it.
