GMail push not working ?

Hi. I just now got an email through gmail. It was sent at 7:44 AM and not received (manually, might I add) until 11:30!

Is there a special setting that I have to enable to get push gmail or...

settings>accounts and sync>make sure auto sync is set

I unfortunately have the same problem.

I never get notified of new gmails in a timely manner. I need to refresh the Gmail application manually.

And I do have Auto Sync set.

My Exchange account set up in HTC Mail app pushes no problem whatsoever. However, my google email in Gmail app is not working at all.

Are you guys running a Task Killer app (particularly an automatic one)? It's possible that the app is killing the background service that listens for mail updates.
