Gmail won't send with an attachment

Every day without fail, I cannot send a Gmail email with attachment without it getting stuck in my outbox. I have to restart my phone in order for it to send. Once it is stuck, no email will send until it finally goes. It happens in Wi-Fi, 3G, or 4G and I have had different internet providers for wi-fi with no difference. I had the same issue with my Epic and more with my S3. Help please!

How about doing this.. Delete you gmail acct. on your phone because nothing will happen anyway since you need your gmail anyway. Backup anything you are saving first. Readd your gmail acct and try and see what happens. Make sure also that you have your gmail acct set up as either exchange or IMAP and not POP3. Let us know what happens.

Are you using the Gmail app, or did you set up Gmail on the regular Mail app?

In 4.1.2 and latest gmail app, from gallery, I attached some pics and had same issue.
Fix was to go to gmail, click on inbox in top-left, then go to outbox, hit refresh. It immediately sent.
