I just got my mesmerize last night and synced up both of my gmail accounts on it. I have never deleted my emails on either account so I have over 9000 emails between the two. Is this going to be detrimental to my phone or can I leave it be? Deleting that many emails will take forever....

Are those all in the inbox or just mostly archived in "All Mail"? I have over 17,000 archived and they dont sit on the phone.

One of my accounts has 8416 listed next to inbox when I look at my gmail labels. I don't see an archived label and there is no number listed next to all mail....

Yeah you should probably archive those or it will slow your inbox on your phone.
probably the easiest way is do a select all, then you should see a message at the top telling you you only selected 50 or 25, click here to select all. Id do that and archive the whole group, them go and move the few that you really need bavk to the inbox.
