Gnex = pos time for Gnex number 2

You do realize that you returned your phone because of a software problem and Not a hardware problem right?

I had this same problem after running some different roms and using a broken LTE toggle mod.

There will be updates to the radios and software. You could of flashed the factory image and got everything switching from 4G to 3G fine

Just something to think about next time you return a perfectly good phone because of a software issue. (Then worry about getting a refurb)

Ok so the Gnex has been working awesome then all of a sudden no 3g what so ever. All over Michigan no 3G. However i get 4g. Sim in another phone and i get 3g and 4g. Reset the sim, toggled networks hard reset you name it and nothing no 3g.

So Verizon is sending me a "Referb" yay cant wait to send my flawless phone back for one that's been beat to hell. And then get one of the phones that had other problems so i can enjoy them as well.

Yet another problem all you people with working Gnex's can look forward to.

refurb isnt necessarily bad, i have had refurbs worked perfect, i inspected em visualy and found em cosmeticly perfect:p

I did flash the stock rom and had no 3g. Set it for 3g only and no 3g. 4g/lte no 3g but 4g in 4 g areas. I flashed 4 diff roms and none worked. Network showed eHRPD but would not have a 3g data connection. Stock rom factory reset. caches cleared still nothing. Sim in my Razr and i had 3g. Data went out about 6pm when i was sitting at home. I had a 3g signal then lost it and did not get a 3g connection back until for about 30 hours restored to the original rom, kernel, radios and settings i was using when i lose the 3g data all together. Calling Verizon they did not know what was wrong since i did all the steps including flashing the phone back to stock and still did not have 3g data. Verizon data specials did not know what was wrong with it and just sent out a new phone about 5 hours later i got my 3g data connection back and have not had any issues with it since.

Bottom line, it was not "Software" on my end. As far as i could tell i had a failure of my 3g since Verizon called and said they had no tower upgrades or maintenance going on around me. Just don't assume i lost my 3g and was on the phone with Verizon demanding a refund or a new phone 3 sec. after my data dropped out. I did everything possible to find out what the issue was and fix it. Honestly i dident want a new phone since i would have to restore mine to stock, relock then unlock and flash my new phone and restore all my data and what not.

Did you reflash the radios? If not, that may have been the source of your problem.
