Go back to Google 11

Why do you want to do that?

I'm own a Pixel 5. If I could, I'd go back to 11 in a heartbeat. Not enough improvements to warrant the upgrade for me, numerous bugs, battery life is worse, All sorts of UI controls that are worse in my opinion. It's one of the worse update ever from Google. And I'm not the only one that feels that way. I feel it was rushed due to the release of the Pixel 6 and 6 Pro. They should have left it in Beta and released the new phones with 11. But then again, that's JMHO.

You got that right. I agree 100%. To say that I'm disappointed, is an understatement.

I think there's always a period of adjustment with any major update. I'm having no issues with Android 12 on my Pixel 3a XL. The UX design changes don't really bother me.

I recognize that there would be adjustments to a new Operating System but these changes and bugs really impacted the in a negative way.
I've created workarounds for most of my problems, but they are certainly not elegant. They have changed the way I used to work for the past 7 years.
The very dim lock screen, AT A GLANCE omissions, and especially the non-functional battery % on the status bar are my issues.
Trying to revert back to android 11, appears to be a suicidal mission that could result in BRICKING my Pixel 3.
I guess I'll just have to live with it until Google fixes it.
Before this problem, I had Google on a pedestal like Robert E Lee. They should have never released Google 12 as they did, especially since they had 5 Betas. Google’s rating, IMO, has slipped from a 10 rating to a 7.

Battery level and screen brightness have been working fine on my 3XL since switching to Android 12.

I'm still getting used to the other changes, but they are starting to grow on me.
