go sms pro issue

Hi all,

So, I downloaded go SMS pro and hid a few threadsin the private box, I was not as happy with the app as I thought I would be so I cleared the data and uninstalled it. Now when I go into the stock messaging app the threads I hid are gone. Is there anyway to get them back or are they gone forever? I know I know, its a stupid question but I really dont want to lose the threads, I had some extremely important info in them. Thanks in advanced for your help,

it takes them out of where android keeps them and stores them in its own data space. so the stock app cant see them, how else do they become "private" if all you have to do is open the stock app to read them?

if you deleted them, they are gone dude.

unless you made a backup from within go sms, and also checked "backup private inbox" and even then youll need to re install go sms to restore that backup. if you made one.

they are probably gone forever. you can re install go sms and see if it sees them from leftover app data on the SD card, but i doubt it.

what he said. Reinstall and maybe the hidden ones at there still. Unhide and uninstall.

long press the word "Messages" in your conversation list.. and it will take you directly to your private box..
