im getting a new phone and want my hero back to stock so i can give it to my sister inlaw whos phone is dying. i would leave it rooted if they lived close but they dont so if she needs support shell have to goto sprint. i was running cynogen 7, clockwork recover. i flashed it back to stock. it works fine except i cant boot to recovery i just get the red triangle and have to take the battery out. i can boot to bootloader but not recovery. any ideas. im on windows 7 and have had no luck hitting the phone from the computer.

See the first post and download the RUU. Make sure HTC Sync Drivers are installed and run the program. Follow the on screen prompts let it do its thing. It will return the phone to stock and erase all traces of it being rooted.
