Well this is my first post on these wonderful forums I have been reading over the past 3 months

So, I have been following the Bionic for the past 7 months and I think I am starting to lose it. I was dreaming that I got the bionic last night and it was the most amazing thing ever. But, then I woke up and I was honestly disappointed that it was not real.

Am I crazy? I feel like I might turn into Wootloops and start talking about the end of the world

Anybody else at wits end waiting for the bionic?

Haha I know I was exaggerating a slight bit. I am super excited for this phone though. I was just wondering if anybody else has gone off the deep end from the constant delays and rumors and "leaks" that don't pan out haha

I have to say, I'm very excited. Although I'm a little bewildered as to the lack of leaks. I can't believe with corporate ads and even a sign-up page on Verizon's site and no concrete specs or pictures (with exception to the best buy ad). I would think testers would have leaked more by now. now there is speculation as to whether they even changed the specs. I feel like all that may have changed for certain is the exterior , the webtop dock and Gingerbread. Other than that, do we have any confirmed specs that it's using OMAP 4430/4460 or Tegra 2, have 1gb of Ram, dedicated or split, 4.3-4.5" screen, pentile/something else, actual phone dimensions? Nothing!

I hope some answers surface soon! just too much speculation going around too soon before the release. So fingers crossed.

Another thought, the release, also speculation haha.

I would be very disappointed if they come out with a "droid 3 LTE". Maybe this is all just a big practical joke by moto and VZW :'(

We have been told all of these amazing things and they would be far away from the truth. I would still buy the bionic and it would still be the best phone on the market. But it really needs to be a step up from the Droid 3 (beyond LTE) to be a real game changer like my OG droid.

In this technology age, I am really surprised by the lack of real leaks; I guess it goes to show you that people can keep their mouths shut! Winston25 in HF (always a reliable source) even said that leaks should start coming out from the Verizon testers very soon - I'm sure they're "planned" leaks, but at least we'll get some real info. With it clearing FCC, Verizon's new sign-up screen, and Best Buy's leaked page, I'm looking forward to an August 4th release date! I am growing so weary of my Storm2, although it's been a good phone for me, I am ready for BIGGER & BETTER & FASTER!

My story of me going crazy is somewhat similar. I've been going nuts.

I'm eligible for NE2 today, so I'm no longer tied to my (crappy) BB Tour, so I've been waiting for the Bionic. My fiance recently upgraded her BB Curve to an iPhone and I've been extremely jealous of her not having to deal with ahving a BB anymore, but I want the Bionic, so I'm being patient.

To make matters worse, I leave the country July 31 - Aug 7 and wanted the phone for that trip. Won't happen it looks like.

Well a larger screen more ram I don't really consider it a droid 3 with lte maybe some may but then again they are probably the same people who would complain no matter what.

I mean it's not confirmed like everything else, but I don't think the Bionic was planned to be a global phone, so if you left the country... Perhaps the Bionic would have been little use? And then when you came back you could see the reviews and possibly save your upgrade if they're bad!

I never see leaving the country as bad

I too am slowly going crazy..
Can't pick up my OG Droid without searching Droid bionic
I even woke up 2 times last night and did a search...
Now I also check my email for a message from VZW'S sign up page.
I know hype is good but personally I think moto /VZW have taken this a little to far, but I still will be first in line. -sigh-

Yeah, I probably wouldn't be using much more than the camera when outside the US. Though I would definitely use it when traveling/waiting on layovers, etc.

But you're right - should look at the bright side - I will have reviews to come back to!

It is global. Just need to go to Verizon's website on the D3.
