I just assumed they had a Bag of Holding inside somewhere to stuff all these antennas into. May help increase reception too!

You do have to have an International Data plan. Verizon has one for personally owned devices that let's you have unlimited data while you are overseas, however, voice calls are still a per minute charge. The minutes don't count against your plan.
