going from dark fasciation to a different rom

Haves some questions, 1. I have been running dark fascination 3.6 for weeks and no problems but was wondering if i want to flash to another rom ie Pool Party ? Do I need to unchecked voodoo lag fix as i read if you go from voodoo to no voodoo is bad news. 2. I have always like using the weather from the nws station to have storm tracks with arrows showing the direction of a traveling storm, It works with dolphin hd but after hours it does not loop anymore until i reboot the phone any ideas as i thought that android was not suppose to run gif animations.

If you choose to flash over to Pool Party or another (mtd) based ROM like CM7 or MIUI - It is recommended to Odin ED05 with repartition checked before you move to the next step. That will fully format your phone and you will not have to disable voodoo lagfix before doing that (I didn't).. There is also about a 30-45 minute process to get Pool Party set up and running the way you want it to...

As far as the Dolphin browser issue.. I would consider clearing your cache and history and that may help resolve the problem..
