So I'm playing with my Sprint Note 2 and I'm just fed up with their service being so hit and miss, it makes the user experience a struggle. So I am jumping to a little Verizon goodness soon with a note 2 hopefully and just wanted to say hi to this side of the Phablet Forums.

Welcome. You will enjoy good service with Verizon. I have been with them since 98 and have hardly ever had a dropped call or no service. Only in places where there is no service, like in parts of Yellowstone park. The only downside is that Verizon phones tend to get updates later than other carriers.

I assume that the battery life is relatively good even with the lte? I usually pull 8 hours out easily on sprint

Welcome to the better side. :) I just left Sprint two months ago for the same coverage reason. It was just horrible. No point in having unlimited data if you can use it. Coverage on Verizon is great. Battery on my Note II is good as well. I get at least 14 hours with gps and bluetooth on all day. I listen to podcasts watch videos and use it for work.

Loving what I'm hearing and based on people I know from work the Verizon coverage in my frequented areas is golden. Now to find out a not so expensive way to get the actual phone.

Battery life is good on the Note 2. I take my phone off the charger at 5 PM and put it back on at 8AM the following morning, it still has 50% left.

Look online at amazon.com & newegg.com they sometimes have good deals that Bestbuy will price match. Thats how I got my GN2 for $189 when it was $299 every where else. Got a GS3 for $9.99 through price match at Bestbuy.

Because I just got accessories for my 2 and don't want to sell them or eat the money I spent on them. I'm sure in time I'll upgrade and sell this one as a large bundle but for now I think I'll hold this one, root it and use it as my "ipod touch"

Yeah back in July newegg.com had the Galaxy S3 on sale for $9.99 upgrade price and $0.00 for new Verizon customers. In August they had the S4 for $99

I rarely look at newegg and didn't know they even had phones XD I'll have to browse around.

They do have some good deals sometimes. I got a otterbox defender case from them for $39.99 with free shipping. Normal price every where is $59.99
