Going to Europe next week with Nexus S 4G

CDMA = no radio and no 3G signal but... WiFi should work, WIMax should work (if i can find it), will the GPS work? In short, worth bringing along?

AFAIK you will have wifi connectivity and GPS (as I understand the specs, this phone has both standalone and aGPS functionality). WiMax, I don't think so.

On the positive side, VoIP is a native function on this phone, if you set it up before leaving you should be able to make calls as long as you are connected to wifi.
