I love gold phones and the fact that I'm not stuck with a color of black that has basically been the main choice for years. A phone like a watch or pair of shoes is a accessory to style. Lots of ballers out there and the young hip crowd should love the gold colors.

I've never had anything but black or the dark, dark blue like my S3, but for some reason I think the gold is cool. Then again, as other said, with the case you're not going to see much of it.

But what I did was just order a Spigen Gold Ultra Fit Thin Case....looks just like a Gold Galaxy S5

I went to the VZW corporate store near me today while killing some time to see if they had the gold version. I'm still holding out hope for a 32GB version, but thought I would see what the gold looked like. There are several sites saying it would be in the stores today, and I visited this same store at lunch earlier in the week and an employee told me the gold would be there soon. Walking in the store I was immediately "confronted" by the manager asking what I wanted. I told him and he looked at me like I was an alien. "What gold S5" he said. I showed him one of the websites on my phone saying it was coming to VZW, and told him his employees confirmed it was coming earlier in the week. He just said he "never heard anything about this" and asked if "there was anything else he could help me with." He was a complete d!cK. Not sure why they have to lie to you so much in these stores. Hard to believe the manager knew nothing about this.
