Good for Enterprise & Rooting

I recently switched from a BB to an Evo 4G. I was interested in rooting my phone to enable the hotspot option, improve the battery life, and play around with some custom ROMs and Gingerbread.

I use my Evo for business email and have Good for Enterprise (aka Good Mobile Messaging). One of the main reasons I switched from the BB was due to my company overly-restricting a device I purchased .

I have read that Good has the ability to notice if a device is rooted. I was wondering if any of you kind folks could answer the following for me before I start messing with my device:

1. Is the check for a rooted device turned on by default?
2. If a device is rooted, will good simply display a warning, or will it not work at all?
3. Is there any way to fool Good to allow rooting?

Not allowing Rooted or Jailbroken devices is a server setting. If this is set, no Good will not run on a rooted device. Lots of people would love to know of a way to fool Good to allow it to run on a rooted device or even an un-rooted device, i.e. root to remove bloatware or upgrade kernal, then unroot.
