Good Lock App

I've seen some excellent comments about this app with one saying every Galaxy should have one on there. I was ready to bite the bullet and try it but shortly into a Youtube video I watched it said it is for those who are more advanced. Meaning technology does not bother them. Anyone using it and would you agree with this?

Give it a try and familiarize yourself with it so you can get comfortable, it's similar to having a 3rd party launcher.

Depends on the module. Some of them are very straight forward, others are a bit more confusing or the UI is just unusably horrible.

But I agree you should just give it a try. THere's nothing in there that will permanently break your phone, and there are enough of us here who use it that you should be able to get help resolving any issues.

Ok. The bold concerns me just a little. LOL. I may just try it.

Went to the Galaxy store and the choice of several are a little confusing. One or two are rated at 4 stars and the others around 3.5. Are they all really a version of Good Lock?

Good Lock is the app. The different items are called plugins. You install them separately and then you are notified in the Good Lock app when there are updates.

I would say it seems more advanced because the names of the plugins aren’t real clear of what they do. It’s trial and error basically. I recommend it strongly.

Thanks for the info folks. I did download it and as expected, I stared at it with no idea what to do. Not having this technology available as a young person kind of puts me behind the learning curve so now I'll play around on it and see how bad I mess up the phone.
