So, yesterday I did a bad thing.
Accidentally pushed my phone off the bed with my foot and it smacked onto the hardwood floor; screen-side down. Oh, noes!
Luckily, there was no damage to the operation of the phone - it unlocked as normal and I saw no visible damage to the screen. However, when I locked my phone and examined the now-turned-off screen, I had two big cracks along the middle of the screen. Sad! But my tempered glass screen protector saved the day! That kind of a fall would have definitely damaged my screen had it not been protected.
I'm a little worried that there could be some damage to my actual screen; but I think my screen protector is thick enough that that probably isn't the case. Even though I'm hoping to get a new phone soon, I love my Honor 8 and want to keep it as a worthy alternative and backup device; so having it in good condition means a lot to me.
Good to know that my paranoia of my precious phones breaking on me sometimes comes in handy!

I would recommend using a glass one! For some reason over the past month or more, my phone has taken more of a hearing and my screen protector has really helped!
