Let me start out by saying I would like to start a postive thread...

I love my galaxy S III. Im coming from the droid X and I can say this was the best descision I made. Theres still alot to learn on this phone for me. Im slowly figuring out things, This phone has a lot to offer. I can say I am a pretty heavy user during the day, with games, texting, calls, Facebooking listening to music and picture taking and I have to say my battery is a whole lot better than the extended battery I had for the droid X..I put my phone on charger around 11 at night removing in morning at 7:30.. I go all day and when I put my phone back on charger at night there still is 40-50% left..

I am very pleased would love to hear how others feel

I too had the Droid X, felt it was a great device, even though I used it with the standard battery.

Had the GNex next. Kind of missed my Droid X, but 4G LTE was fast compared to the Droid X's 3G.

Now that I have the GS3, I don't miss the GNex. The GS3 is everything the GNex should've been.

I'm coming from a Droid X also. I loved the X, had very little problems with it. Good Solid Phone. Was very excited to try this phone out, had it about 5 days and loving it. Taking some time to get it the way I like. Very good with the clarity of Phone calls, I'm in a 4G area so no problems with that, but I haven't used the 4G that much yet. I actually am liking some of the things other people aren't. I don't feel the stock version of the Keyboard using Trace(Swype-like keyboard) is that bad, but agree the predictive text can be a pain sometimes. I also like that when you type on it with just your fingers, when I tap it's like my sister's Iphone. You get the letters enlarged and don't make as many mistakes as with my droid X. I also don't mind the S-Voice that much either. I use it a lot, just having a problem with the way it handles contacts with more than one number.
Haven't used the Camera that much yet. I am a little disappointed that it doesn't have FM radio on it, like the X did. Miss that a little. Screen is gorgeous, ICS is good, which I'm still learning, and the biggest thing I worried about was the GPS and that's been working great so far. So far loving this phone!

Plenty of great radio apps with much more versatility than a stock FM radio.

Sent from my ridiculously cool Samsung Galaxy SIII

I'm also coming from an X. Love this phone! I used Swiftkey on my X and moved it over to the S3 without a moment's hesitation. I had Vortex ROM on my X since I felt the phone needed it. At this point I'm not planning on even rooting the S3. Until I feel it needs it I'm not going to root just for the sake of rooting.
