As the title says no more BB for me. Longtime BB user but I had an upgrade and there wasn't any BB or upcoming BB worth looking at so I made the jump to Droid. Couldn't be happier, the Storm 2 I had worked but it was frustrating. I picked up a Droid Charge and I got the woman a Thunderbolt. The bolt is going back this week for another charge becasue the woman doesn't like it.
Overall I am loving the new platform. Blackberry has nothing on droid. There are a few things that I don't like but it's far from a deal breaker. The lack of a notification light sucks, I liked that I could tell what message I received from across the room. I also had notifications set for different sounds but I'm sure there is a way to do that, I just haven't had the time to play around. One thing I really hate is the remove or even hide the crap bloatware that the phone ships with. I understand you can load different ROMs to take care of this but I have not read enough to see if it's worth it. I don't have a problem modifying things, I've been overclocking computers for over 10 years and modifying cars for well longer than that. I just don't want to void the warranty on a $300 phone but not being able to remove crap you will never use is BS. I should be able to choose what I want on my phone.
