I have ordered the Google Pixel 2 xl this morning and so my 3 year love affair with the N6 is over. I am so excited to be getting my new phone but I have had a great experience with the N6...

same here! mine served me well. Still works good except for the battery.

Not "Goodbye," more like "Keep in touch." I'll still be using my N6, as long as it lasts, to try out custom ROMs and such whenever I get the urge. I'm for sure not doing any of that heavylifting with the 2 XL @ $850 a pop. The only "modding" I've got in mind is adding rootless Substratum/Andromeda to get Swift Black on my already black 2XL. Can you imagine?

goodbye as well , to my N6...don't let the door hit you on the way out when the Pixel 2XL arrives...😊

Sadly I had to say Goodbye to my Nexus 6 a couple of months ago. The screen got shattered. So using my phone insurance, I got a Samsung Galaxy Note 5.

So far so good. I love the sharp screen, the WiFi Calling feature, and a few of the other features.

Of course one of the First things I did was to get rid of the TouchWiz launcher, and replace it with Google Now, which made the phone so much easier to use.

Well it's time to say farewell to my Nexus 6. It's been a great run. This phone had almost everything I wanted.....huge screen and stock Android. Best phone I've had....now that title will go to the Pixel 2 XL. Peace.

My N6 earned backup phone status a few months ago. The battery was fading fast after 2 and a half years, headphone jack was wonky, USB port was already broken for months (thank God for wireless charging!)

I moved on to the OnePlus 5 thinking it'd just hold me over until the Pixel 2 XL came around, but the bleh look of the 2 XL, combined with the concerns around it about the display, have me keeping my distance for now.

I'm still holding out. I just had my battery replaced on my 3 year old N6 so I'm good for now.

And I have to try to replace the screen and digitizer..it had a little accident. Anyone want to sell your old N6?

Really do miss my Nexus 6, last Nexus / Google / Pixel device I owned. Phone was built great, had the best reception of any phone I've owned, was built when Motorola was still a major phone manufacturer.

I replaced my venerable Nexus 6 with a Pixel 2 XL last November. It's my new all time favorite phone.
