Goodbye s3, hello s6

My s3 has been a great phone but after 2+ years it's time to say goodbye. My s6 shipped today so I should have the next big thing early next week.

You know I went into the ATT store today to play with the S6 and yes, it's very snappy. I liked the form factor and design of the S6 Edge a bit better. And while I'm sure its a BIG step up , the GS3 has been extremely reliable since day one. I'm having a hard time justifying the cost though. Yes the camera is WAY faster and better, but it's no DSLR, that's for sure. And I agree with the review that the speakers sound tinny. It didn't WOW me like I had hoped. Sorry but that's just how I feel about it and am happy you pulled the trigger.. Enjoy!

Let us know what you think. Am still trying to wait for the S6 active specs/release, but after comparing my old S3 next to the S6 it looks like I tinted my screen. Know that sounds nuts, but night & day difference in appearance.

Love it so far. Very fast, great battery life and it's nice to be pretty much up to date on software.

Congrats! I've been tossing around the idea of getting the S6 too. Just love my S3 though.

How is the battery life for the S6 compared to your old S3? Know the S3 has a much lower resolution screen & really not comparable tech wise, but my S3 came off the charger yesterday morning & was still at 70% late last night with my avg./normal use.

I had my s3 for 2 plus years so towards the end, battery life on it was horrible. When it was new, I'd say they were close but the fast charging option on the s6 is amazing.
