Goodbye Storm2!! Hello Fascinate!

Hello everyone!

Last week I was finally fed up with the performance of my Storm2. Phone would decide to restart on me whenever the heck it wanted. Luckily never in the middle of a call. Yet I was getting frustrated, every time I would go to use it, it would be in the middle of a restart. Let me tell you, that is extremely aggravating especially in my line of work.

Enough of that, I can go on about that all day. This weekend on Saturday, I headed on over to Best Buy and bought my first Android phone, the Samsung Fascinate. It was contract free and bought on that exchange program so I can upgrade later on down the road at a cheaper price.

So far I like the look and feel of the phone and love the way it works. Still unsure if I want to root it or not but that is something I will look into in the next few days. Hopefully this forum will fit me too good use and I will be able to help out new guys like me someday with helpful advice on an Android phone.

The transition from Blackberry Os to android is a tricky one.. U will miss BBM but in the end you wont look back..

Thank you all for the warm welcomes. It feels so much better in this forum than in the BB ones. As far as the transition I am loving it. I never used BBM because me and my wife just use YIM or sms. This is so awesome, I am really glad that I made this change over.
