Google App Problem

Hi. The Google app keeps crashing (after it continually keeps updating itself) on my Ace 3. The only version of it that works is the original factory version.

Is there either a way to stop the updating process or a method to fix the app?

Go to gapps early and download/install to a slightly earlier google app version until it works. Then go to the play store find the google app and click it, then go to the overflow menu and deselect auto update
