Google app Recommended Content Notifications

I never get recommended content from google app yet I have it enabled. I've even followed tv shows and movies. Never get a notification for a new episode of a TV show either. Anyone actually get recommended content notifications?

I have them all checked on across my devices which most likely they are turned on by default.
