Google Assistant acting weird with Android auto.

okay, so am I 2018 Accord Sport yesterday afternoon, my Android auto started acting weird. Here's what happens, everything connects and runs smoothly, however whenever I say the OK Google command or the microphone to tell it a command such as play a certain type of music or send a text to someone it will do that but Android auto doesn't go back to playing the music that I have through play music. Right now I found that the fix is hitting the source button on the head unit and re clicking the Android auto option. I'm trying to resync the Bluetooth connection, uninstall reinstall Android auto. Nothing is work so far. Also, when I receive a new incoming text, I go to listen to it and respond back right after Android auto sends that message, I have to click the source button and hit me Android auto auction again. As you can tell, this gets very annoying very quickly! Any help is appreciated. It just started happening yesterday afternoon. I've determined that it seems like it's something with Google Assistant with an Android auto. I used to have my Google assistant voice change to the British accent, but it was still working on that change. as soon as I can, I'm going to change the Google assistant voice back to the normal voice see if that helps, but I doubt it.
