Yea, I would NOT try and download this to your watch. Just wait for the official release from Google.

The way the YouTuber stated it, it sounded like the "Dev" was one of the "Official Dev's" that was working on this with Google and allowing others to try it for a small donation, which I thought was a bit shady.

I had a Google Assistant app on my AW2. Some Dev created it, it was free. It worked pretty good, but was a bit of a process to install it. Ended up not using it that much since I have Google Homes all around the house. I just talk to them rather than the watch.

Yeah, I had that app as well, and over time just wasn't using it and uninstalled it. It was a process to get it going. I use Google Home as well since I have those devices in several strategic locations in my house also.

Yep, that is why I found it Sketch on the process and I will just wait for the official. HOWEVER, it was good to see it working on the watch and now know it CAN be done and SHOULD be done. I used to have all my "Smart" stuff connected to Alexa, but I transitioned to Google since I was given a ton of Google hardware (Hubs, Hub Max's and smart outlets and switches that all worked seamlessly with Google).

We use all Alexa devices but I still can't wait to have GA on the watch. Will you be able to say Hey Google send text to so and so or will you have to hit the mic button?
