Google Assistant listening to music

When I ask Google "what music is playing" it says 'Sorry, something went wrong." Any ideas? Has not worked for sometime now.

Just tested mine. I only got the something went wrong when the music is too low. While it's listening are you getting the sound bars displayed?

This happens to me all the time. not sure what is wrong.
