Google Assistant on N7?

Has anyone got the update to Assistant? I thought it was supposed to come to any device on 6.0+ but haven't seen anything on my tab yet.

That rollout was for phones only. Currently Assistant on tablets is done through a build prop edit which has the tablet pretend it is a phone.

How do you get that?

You'd have to root your device. Once you do that you'll have complete access to the file system, which includes the build.prop file. I can't tell you what specific change to make but I'm sure you could find it over on XDA.
