Google Assistant on Samsung

Can anybody please confirm for me, does the Galaxy s8 have Google Assistant? If it does is it the same as on pixels as in does it do everything it can do on pixel?

Works the same by pressing the home button. It talks to me. I haven't explored its whole range, but it looks like I have a full working GA, as opposed to the GA on my Iphone 7 which is limited by stupid Apple.

It works for me. I wouldn't think it would be any different. I use Google assistant, voice to text, and keyboard.

Hello! Tryed this and liked girl voice! So my question is it possible her voice use as phone voice? Now on my phone just google voice and google assistant voice is better...

The only thing it cannot do that the Pixel does is being activated by saying OK Google when the screen is off. It will only work if the phone is charging, either wired or wireless.
