google assistant setup on HTC 10

I have an htc10 I want to disable the google assist from my fingerprint button

Open Google Assistant by long-pressing your fingerprint scanner.

Tap the explore icon (top right).

Tap the menu icon (top right).

Choose settings.

Under Devices, choose your phone.

Toggle off Google Assistant.
