Hi guys,
I feel like I'm going insane now. I want to make sure that my backup file is up to date before updating my Verizon M9 to marshmallow. I was using HTC backup but it never re-installs my apps so I switched back to Google. However it doesn't show the last backup date when I view backup/restore. I swore that it used to. Also where is it stored? I read a post over the weekend that said it would show the backup file in google drive under the settings but I don't see it. I'm using the same email address as my backup and Google Drive.

Thx peeps!

Not sure about where your file is stored, but if you do use HTC Backup now, it does re-install your playstore apps. It also stores it only to Google now. After you upgrade, you have to download HTC Restore. I also found HTC Services under settings as a hidden app. Not sure how to open it though,.....

My issue is that the latest backup is from over a month ago was saved to Google Drive (at least that's what HTC Backup says), however, HTC Backup will ONLY let me restore an older back up from a year ago saved on Dropbox. HTC Bkup says that month old back up is saved on Google Drive but I can't see it on GD. Also hate that you can't manually initiate a backup like under Lollipop. One of HTC's best feature is now crap and the other, Boomsound is about to disappear from the M10. Its hard to justify staying with HTC....
