Google calendar events - alarm not sounding

Just upgraded from a S22+ to a S25+. Used Smart Switch to transfer apps, data, settings, etc. I use Google Calendar to add Events for planning my day. I depend on the alarms notifying of a pending Event. On the S22+, this worked as expected. The alarm would sound and continue to sound until I snoozed or dismissed it. On the S25+, the only "alarms" I receive are a single "tone" that does not repeat until dismissed. What am I missing?
