Google calendar not working after gingerbread

Anyone having problems with Google calendar after gingerbread update ?

I am. I am not rooted, just using Google Calendar and Outlook. While I was looking at my calendar, about 2/3 of my appointments just disappeared from the phone. I can see these appointments online but they will not sync. Upon further review, the vast majority of these appointments are from my wife's calendar, which is linked to my own. I really don't want to have to do a factory reset to force a resyncing of the calendar, but I'm wondering if that is going to solve the problem.

Anyone else having Google calendar issues?

OK, I answered my own question. It was a cache issue with the calendar. I went to the settings, manage apps and went to the calendar app and cleared all the data. Then I went to settings, accounts & sync and turned on the calendar sync for google and outlook. After a sync happened, everything got restored.
