Is this a match made in Heaven or one headed for Hell?

I kinda like the idea, but don't get why you'd need the physical reels (or why they'd need to be that expensive) hehe.

An interesting development of an old technology. Viewmaster stereo photography was not originally intended as a children's toy. They used to make ingeniously-designed 35mm stereo cameras of very high quality, so that you could produce your own 3D reels. Of course, cameras WERE cameras in those days.

I'm not sure why you should have to connect a smartphone to the device, but I like seeing old tech get revamped lol
