Google+ crashing incessantly

Since before my phone was updated to Android 7.0 Google+ has been crashing incessantly. Since my phone has been updated I have factory reset it twice and set up the phone as a new device (did not import settings and data). Is anyone else having issues with Google+ crashing?

Open system settings > applications > sort by all > google+. Clear cache. If that doesn't fix the problem then go into the same setting for google+ and uninstall updates. See if that helps.

If it does, then try updating it again and see if the problem reoccurs.

Sadly it didn't help. Do you haven an A9 srkmagnus? If so, is Google+ crashing on you or not?

I have an A9 and never had any problems with Google+ under Android 6 or 7. Perhaps you have some memory conflict caused by another app. Try disabling apps you've downloaded and see how Google+ behaves running a barebones phone.

The latest Google+ update fixed the problems I was having. 9.7.0.149074449 specifically.
